Prepayment and Deposit

 A  non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total estimated cost is required upon signing this Contract to reserve the event date and space at Zola's Cafe.

This deposit will be applied toward the final event balance.

Payment Schedule

The remaining  balance is due in full 1 day before the event date. Failure to make the final payment by this date may result in the cancellation of the event without refund of the deposit.

Any additional charges incurred during the event (e.g., extra guests, extended hours, special requests) will be invoiced after the event and due within 3 days of the event date.

Cancellations

Client-Initiated Cancellation:

If the Client cancels the event 30 days or more before the event date, the deposit will be retained by Zola's Cafe as a cancellation fee, but no additional charges will be incurred.

If the Client cancels within 5 days of the event date, 50% of the total contracted amount will be due and payable by the Client to cover costs incurred by Zola's Cafe.

Zola's Cafe-Initiated Cancellation:

Zola's Cafe  reserves the right to cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, emergencies, or situations beyond control).  In such cases, the Client will receive a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit.

Zola's Cafe will work with the Client to reschedule the event if possible.

Final Guest Count and Changes

The Client must provide a final guest count no later than 2 days before the event. This number will be used to finalize the menu and staffing.

Any changes to the guest count or event details after this time may be subject to additional charges.

Refund Policy

Refunds for cancellations by the Client will be processed according to the cancellation terms outlined above.

Refunds will  not be provided for any decrease in guest count or services within 7 days of the event date.

Event Timing and Venue Access

The event space will be available for setup 2 hours before the event start time. All events must conclude as per your reservation with a 1.5 hour grace time with cleanup completed within 1 hour after the event ends.

Extended use of the venue beyond the contracted time may result in additional charges.

Governing Law

This Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio.

Entire Agreement

This Contract constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all  prior agreements, understandings, or representations.
